1. Our Respect for IP

Chef Imen respects intellectual property rights. All original content on this site is created by the site or used with permission. Chef-inspired content is recreated for commentary, education, and review.

2. Rewrites, Originality & AI Images — Our Practice

Rewritten text: When a recipe is inspired by a public chef recipe, instructions are rewritten in our own words and tested in our kitchen. We do not copy text verbatim from copyrighted cookbooks or paid sources.
AI-generated images: We may use realistic AI images that we generate, or original photos we take. AI images used are generated by the site operator and used as original visuals for recipes.
Credit & source: Where possible we credit the inspiration (e.g., “inspired by [Chef Name]”). Credit is for transparency and respect; it does not imply endorsement.

3. Copyright Infringement & DMCA Procedure (How to Report)

If you believe content on this site infringes your copyright, send a written notice to contact@chefimen.com including:

A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent.
Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed.
URL(s) of the allegedly infringing material on this site.
Contact information for the complaining party (address, phone, email).
A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized.
A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act.

We will: review notices quickly, remove or disable access to infringing content if valid, and notify the user who posted it.

4. Counter-Notice Procedure

If your content was removed and you believe removal was a mistake, you may send a counter-notice to contact@chefimen.com including:

identification of the removed material and its prior location;
a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed mistakenly;
your contact information and consent to jurisdiction;
an electronic signature.
We will respond and restore material if appropriate after relevant waiting period, unless a legal claim is filed.

5. Takedown & Repeat Infringer Policy

We comply with DMCA and will remove infringing material. Repeat infringers may be blocked and have their content removed.

6. Trademarks & Attribution

Trademarks and brand names remain property of their owners. Use of a brand name on this site is for identification and commentary only.

7. Licensing & Permissions Requests

To request permission to republish or license content, email contact@chefimen.com with details of the requested use. We evaluate requests case-by-case and may grant permission or require licensing terms.
